Anton Simonov


Was born in 1975 in Almaty.

After graduating from art school began working as a designer in his father's design-studio. Since then, he has linked his life with art and graphic design.

 

In 1997 graduated from the Architectural Academy and immediately, came to work as an art director to Leo Burnett advertising agency .

 

Later he continued his work in the field of art direction, design and visual communications. He worked both in large international advertising agencies and in independent local ones.

As an art director, shot more than 100 commercials.

Worked with such clients / brands as: PROCTER & GAMBLE, EFES, KOZEL, PHILIP MORRIS, WIMM BILL DANN, PEPSICO, TOYOTA, TELE2, METRO, SC JOHNSON, DANONE, KFC and many others.

 

In 2008 entered VGIK, where finished the course of Yuri Kara and Boris Grigoriev in the TV-direction class. Graduated with the short film "Two times Two". After graduation he made a documentary short on the grant of the Ministry of Culture - "Svoy". As a director shot a number of TV commercials.

 

Since 2017, the curator and author of the intensive course: Art Direction - the shooting of a commercial – at the British Higher School of Design
